“Geometry Dash Modes Tests - v1.7.0” is an essential sandbox and testing ground for players and creators to explore the distinct physics and controls of every major Geometry Dash gameplay mode. This fan-developed project provides a hands-on way to master Ship, Wave, Ball, UFO, Spider, Swingcopter, and Robot mechanics.

This project is a community effort. Primary coding and sprite work was done by @me, with UFO and Spider art contributed by @OverlordRunt777777. All original game assets and concepts are credited to RobTop Games. The creators allow free use of these resources with proper attribution.
Available Game Modes & Controls
Version 1.7.0 includes seven fully implemented modes, each with authentic controls:
- Ship & Wave: Hold space/click to ascend, release to descend.
- Ball, Spider & Swingcopter: Press space/click to reverse gravity.
- UFO: Tap space/click to jump.
- Robot: The latest addition, featuring completed animation.
Note: The Spider mode is acknowledged to have some lingering bugs that are being worked on.
Visual Details and Development Roadmap
The demo includes visual polish like wave trails, spider teleportation effects, and basic swing copter fire. Looking ahead, the development roadmap lists the Cube mode as the next planned addition. Future visual enhancements aim to add ship engine fire and more detailed swing copter booster effects.
Version History & Progress
This project has evolved through multiple versions (v1.0 to v1.7.0), methodically adding each gamemode and refining their physics. Key updates have included adjusting ball behavior, UFO jump height, fixing swing collision, and most recently, finalizing the robot's animation, making it a living document of fan-driven Geometry Dash mechanics development.
