Geometry Dash Straight Fly
Geometry Dash Straight Fly: A Powerful Online Level Editor
“Geometry Dash Straight Fly” is a comprehensive, browser-based level editor that allows you to design, playtest, and share custom Geometry Dash levels directly online. More than just a single level, it's a full-fledged creative suite for aspiring level creators.
Performance and Setup
Important Note: This editor can be resource-intensive. For the best and smoothest experience, it is highly recommended to run it on Turbowarp, an optimized Scratch player. The built-in Turbo Mode is a less effective alternative for reducing lag.
Core Editor Features
The editor provides all the tools needed for level creation. You can import your own music by editing the backdrop, and save your progress by remixing the project. The interface is divided into two main modes toggled by Z and M keys: Play Mode and Edit Mode.
Play Mode Controls & Tools
- Basic: Click or press space to jump, fly, and activate orbs.
- Advanced: Use I/O for noclip, Z to place practice checkpoints, S to manually sync the level, and W for auto-spam when auto-click is enabled.
- Rate finished levels with 0-9 keys.
Edit Mode: Deep Dive Creation
- Object Placement: Cycle through block menus (1,3), select blocks (4,5), use the eraser (2), and pick up existing blocks (Z).
- Object Manipulation: Rotate blocks (R, T), fine-tune position/rotation (E), and reset settings (R+O).
- Advanced Systems: Access trigger menu (F), detection menu (B), and a sophisticated music sync system (L, K, J) for beat-perfect timing.
- Project Management: Save (9) and load (0) your level data.
Active Development & Feature Rich
This project is under constant improvement, with a detailed changelog from versions 1.0 to 2.1.10. Major additions include the Swing Copter gamemode, color/size/move/alpha triggers, lasers, breakable blocks, save/load codes, keys, coins, 3D objects, and a verification system to distinguish legit completions from those using helper tools like Auto-Click and Auto-Fly. Countless optimizations have been made to physics, lag reduction, and gamemode mechanics like the Spider and Ball.
