Key Game Mechanics Explained

Pipes: Build entrance and exit pipes, then use the pipe connection icons from your inventory to define their direction and link them logically (e.g., a down pipe can lead to a right pipe).
Doors: Simply place two doors to connect them. Locked doors require a key, which can even be placed on an enemy to drop upon defeat.
? Blocks: Faithful to Mario lore, they give a Mushroom by default. Once you have a Mushroom, they can yield other power-ups like the Fire Flower.
Level End: Your creation concludes when Mario touches a distinct brown outline or box, reminiscent of Super Mario Bros. 3.

Save, Load & Share Your Creations

The game features a reliable save/load system. In Maker Mode, click the bottom-right button, follow the prompts, and press Space to generate a unique save code. Copy and share this code. To load a level—whether yours or from the community—select “Load Level” from the main menu and paste (Ctrl+V) the code. A special recovery broadcast (“Save Code”) is available via “See Inside” if needed.

Advanced Tips & Features

Use extra controls: B to switch directly to the Place Tool and I for the Picker Tool.
You can pick up and carry items like Koopa Shells, P-Switches, and Bob-ombs.
Level size doesn’t harm performance, though very large levels may take slightly longer to load.
