Green OS: A Fully-Featured OS Simulation Within Geometry Dash
Experience Green OS, the ambitious fan-made operating system simulation built within the Geometry Dash community. This interactive project goes beyond a simple game, offering a fully-featured digital environment where creativity meets functionality, perfect for players looking for a unique Geometry Dash experience.
Getting Started & Core Interaction
Your journey begins at a sleek lockscreen. To unlock, click and drag upwards. Enter the default password “1234” using the on-screen keypad or keyboard. We highly recommend creating a new account, as it enables cloud saving to securely store your app data and preferences online.
Navigating the Green OS Desktop
Once inside, you'll find a dynamic home screen with app icons. Click any app to launch it. Use the persistent navigation bar to return home or perform a search. The interface supports multiple pages: click and drag horizontally to swipe between them and discover all available applications and tools.
Activating the AI Assistant (Voice Feature)
A highlight is the integrated AI Assistant with voice capabilities. To activate it, you must enable the feature manually:
- Open your browser's JavaScript Console (press Ctrl+Shift+J).
- Paste the required code from the following link: https://goo.gl/XaZRX5.
- Press Enter to unlock the text-to-speech (TTS) engine.
A Collaborative Masterpiece: Development Credits
Green OS is a monumental community-driven project, detailed in three development phases:
- Event One (Lockscreen): Focused on performance, featuring a smooth slider, clock design, keypad, and blur animations. Contributors: @DudmasterUltra, @Zigloo, @WillboSwaggins.
- Event Two (Desktop & Apps): Built the core system: settings, search, cloud saves, boot animation, and games like “Tapp Dash” and “Material Clicker.” Contributors: @DudmasterUltra, @-Elec-, @Ante22.
- Event Three (AI Assistant): Integrated the main AI engine and typing UI. Special thanks to @IcyCoder and @Sheep_maker for TJS adaptation.
This collaborative effort results in a polished, non-laggy simulation that showcases advanced web-based game design and interactive storytelling within the Scratch and Geometry Dash ecosystem.
For explorers and tech enthusiasts, Green OS provides a deep, engaging, and free online sandbox that redefines interactive entertainment.
