Easy Geometry Dash v2: Your Accessible Creation Portal
Welcome to Easy Geometry Dash v2, the intentionally approachable gateway into building and playing Geometry Dash levels. The creator is currently seeking a permanent name for this project via user comments, having initially dubbed it "Easy" to signal its beginner-friendly design. A heartfelt thanks is extended to the community for their engagement and content.
To ensure a fluid experience, a standard lag warning suggests using Turbowarp or the built-in Turbo Mode (noting Turbo's lesser effectiveness). You have the freedom to personalize your levels with custom music by editing the backdrop and to securely save your creations through the standard Scratch remix-and-save workflow.
Straightforward Controls for Everyone
The interface is divided into two clear modes, switched by pressing Z and M:
- Play Mode: The core action is a simple click to jump, fly, and interact. For exploration, activate 'no-clip' mode with the I and O keys. After conquering a level, you can cast your vote using the 0-9 keys on the end screen.
- Edit Mode: Tailored for creators. Cycle through block menus (1, 3) and their contents (4, 5), use the eraser (2), and access settings or debug menus (I, O, P). Place blocks with a click, rotate them (R key), open the rotation/nudge panel (R, E), reset to default (R, O), and bring up the trigger menu (F) for more advanced object behaviors.
Progress Through Updates
This editor has evolved to be more inclusive and informative. A key addition in Version 1.3 was mobile editing controls, expanding creation possibilities. Versions 1.1 and 1.2 introduced a much-requested visual progress bar with a numerical percentage display, helping players track their advancement. The initial Version 1.0 launched with a complete suite of core Geometry Dash elements: all player icons (cube, ship, ball, UFO, wave, robot, spider), gravity portals, pads, orbs, color triggers, slopes, dash orbs, cross and black blocks, layout blocks, mini/mirror/dual portals, saws, gears, and speed changers. It's the ideal, low-pressure environment to start your Geometry Dash journey.
